On-location headshots and personal-brand portraits for executives, authors, speakers, realtors, attorneys, physicians and teams. The village streets of Carmel, the coast, your office, or a plain studio backdrop. Thirty years of knowing where the light is good on the Monterey Peninsula, portraits published in Fast Company, and proofs in your inbox within 48 hours. Headshots from $400, personal-brand sessions $1,600.
Environmental portraits made on location, lit by the place and the hour rather than a ring light.

Conference and meeting headshot station: $600 per half day, about forty people, proof links the same day; see the conference photography page. Travel is included across the Monterey Peninsula. A 50 percent deposit holds the date.
I do. I'm Manny Espinoza, a Carmel-by-the-Sea photographer with thirty years on the Monterey Peninsula. I photograph executives, authors, speakers, realtors, attorneys, physicians and whole teams on location: in the village, on the coast, at your office or against a plain studio backdrop. My portraits of AI executive coach Brian Evergreen were published in Fast Company in October 2026, and I have photographed Clint Eastwood, the Monterey Symphony and corporate clients including Adobe and Apple.
A headshot session is $400: one person, one setting, about 30 minutes, a private proof gallery within 48 hours and three fully retouched finals, with more at $65 each. A personal-brand session for authors, speakers, executives and founders is $1,600: about 90 minutes through the village and along the coast, three or four settings, wardrobe changes, fifteen retouched finals and same-night selects when a deadline needs them. Team sessions start at $600 for up to six people with one retouched final each, and $150 for each additional person. A conference headshot station is $600 per half day and covers about forty people. Travel is included across the Monterey Peninsula.
Wherever suits the use. For LinkedIn and company bios, your office or a quiet Carmel street in open shade reads as professional without looking like a passport photo. For authors, speakers and personal brands, the village, Carmel Beach and the coast give you a set of images that work across a book jacket, a speaking page and social media. I bring a backdrop for teams that need a matched, plain background.
Solid colors in the mid tones: navy, charcoal, olive, burgundy, cream. No fine patterns or logos. Bring a second top or jacket so we get two looks. Wear what you would wear to meet your most important client. Hair and makeup as you normally wear them. I retouch skin naturally and never reshape faces.
Proofs within 48 hours in a private online gallery. You choose your finals, and retouched files follow within two business days in a square crop for LinkedIn and profiles, a web size and a print-resolution file. Same-day delivery is available when a publication or an event needs it.
Yes. Teams are photographed in one setting so every portrait matches, at your office or a Carmel location, usually about ten minutes per person. For conferences and meetings at Pebble Beach, Monterey or Carmel venues, a headshot station runs for a half day and each attendee gets a proof link the same day. See the conference photography page for full programs.
Brian Evergreen hired me for an hour and twenty minutes in Carmel-by-the-Sea. He needed three images that night for a magazine; he had them by 10:30 PM. Fast Company published the portraits on October 7, 2026, credited to Manny Espinoza.
