I'm Manny Espinoza — a fine-art-trained commercial photographer working out of Carmel-by-the-Sea. For more than thirty years I've photographed the Monterey Peninsula's businesses, buildings, plates, and people: from neighborhood restaurants and custom home builders to Adobe, Apple, McLaren, and Sotheby's.
As Creative Director and Photographer for 65º Magazine, I spend as much time thinking about how images live on a page as how they're made in camera. That editorial eye — and a decade spent teaching Photoshop and Illustrator — shapes every commercial assignment I take.
The work is shot on the 102-megapixel Fujifilm GFX 100 II and finished in-house on a 64-inch Epson, which means the same person composes the frame, edits the file, and — when the project calls for it — makes the print. No lab. No handoffs. No surprises.
If your organization is on the Peninsula, there's a good chance we've already been in the same room. Let's make something worth hanging.
